This project involved full wall preparation and wallpapering throughout the hall, stairs and landing — an area that naturally draws the eye and sets the tone for the rest of the property.
The chosen wallpaper was bold and vibrant, which presents its own challenges. Strong patterns and colours demand exceptional precision, careful pattern matching, and absolute attention to detail to achieve a seamless, high-end finish — particularly across stair angles, corners, and long drops.
All existing wall coverings were carefully stripped, with surfaces thoroughly prepared and made good to ensure a smooth and stable base for the new installation.
Ceilings were refreshed with two full coats of matt white emulsion, creating a clean contrast that enhances the impact of the statement walls.
All woodwork was meticulously prepared before being finished with one full undercoat and a durable high-gloss top coat, resulting in a crisp, sharp finish that complements the bold design.
The walls were then re-papered in a matching statement wallpaper, delivering a striking yet cohesive look throughout the entire space.
